Local ownership is the starting point.
We propose exploring how education, practical AI and economic insight might support priorities defined by Saint Helena’s local stakeholders. The aspiration is to widen learning and earning opportunities through a programme shaped with, and owned locally by, participating people and institutions.
Listen before designing. Agree before delivering.
Partnership discussions, local priorities and programme design must precede delivery. No formal Saint Helena partnership, government approval, launched pilot or secured programme funding is claimed. This remains a proposed exploration.
Possible areas of learning include relevant professional education through SIFS Open Access, a carefully chosen practical AI application and economic scenario research. Access, support and content adaptation would need to be agreed for each programme.
- Understand local priorities and the opportunities people identify.
- Develop relationships and agree responsibilities with local stakeholders.
- Assess educational relevance, accessibility and practical support.
- Agree a scoped programme and funding before any delivery.
QUESTIONS FOR FURTHER RESEARCH
Feasibility before ambition.
Financial-services development and digital payments may be questions for further research. Any options would require legal, regulatory and economic feasibility assessment, alongside local priorities and appropriate professional advice.
No monetary sovereignty claims, token sale, stablecoin launch or legislative approvals are proposed or claimed by this website.
Opportunity defined by the community.
Our role would be to contribute knowledge, tools and delivery capacity where they are useful — not to prescribe a future from outside. Local identity, experience and ownership are essential to the exploration.
