Ambition begins with a useful question.
Moonshots is being developed as a way to connect community challenges with people, expertise and emerging technology. The aim is not to pursue novelty for its own sake, but to find small experiments that can build knowledge, confidence and practical capability.

Jersey Moonshots
Moonshots Jersey is a not-for-profit annual challenge to Jersey’s next generation of thinkers, creators and changemakers, culminating in one public day in October 2027.
Visit the Jersey Moonshots websiteLocal priorities. Open possibilities.
Jersey is the initial context for this work. Listening to local people and institutions will help identify challenges worth exploring, from practical AI adoption to the skills communities need for a changing economy. No events, prizes or programme dates are confirmed.
A useful experiment starts with a defined problem, a small scope and a clear way to learn. The people closest to the challenge should help define what success means, what risks matter and what happens next.
- Identify a locally meaningful question.
- Bring together relevant expertise and community perspectives.
- Assess feasibility, accessibility and responsible use of technology.
- Test at a manageable scale and share the lessons.
An invitation to contribute ideas.
We welcome perspectives on questions that deserve attention, and expertise that could help explore them. This is an invitation to a conversation, not a prize application or a promise of funding.
